We’ve kept these terms as straightforward as possible so you know what to expect when shopping with us.
By accessing or using our website, or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies linked from our website.

The Epilogue Book Co (ABN 32 809 967 321) is an Australian online bookstore specialising in romance books and bookish accessories.
In these Terms, “The Epilogue Book Co”, “we”, “us” or “our” means The Epilogue Book Co.

If an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available options with you.
5. Orders
When you place an order, you are requesting to purchase the products selected at the prices displayed at checkout.

- there has been a genuine pricing or product information error;

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
7. Pre-orders
Where a product is available for pre-order, this will be clearly indicated on the product listing.
Any release or dispatch date provided for a pre-order is an estimate and may change due to circumstances outside our control, including publisher or supplier delays.
If an order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, we may hold the order until the pre-order item is available. Where this applies, the relevant information will be provided on the product listing or at checkout.
8. Shipping and delivery
Our shipping costs, delivery options and estimated processing and delivery timeframes are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page.
We take care when packing every order and use appropriate packaging to protect your purchase during transit.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is handled by the selected postal or courier service.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us and we will work with you to investigate the delivery.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to delivery.
9. Cancelling an order
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate your request, however we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once it has been processed or dispatched.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this section.
10. Returns, refunds and exchanges
Our Returns & Exchanges policy explains how we handle change-of-mind returns, exchanges and refunds.
We do not offer returns or refunds simply because you have changed your mind unless otherwise stated in our Returns & Exchanges policy.
However, nothing in our Returns & Exchanges policy or these Terms limits, excludes or modifies any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If there is a problem with a product, please contact us so we can assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
Depending on the circumstances, where a product has a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

13. Gift cards
Where we offer gift cards, any applicable terms, expiry dates and conditions will be displayed at the time of purchase.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
Gift card terms do not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you choose to provide us with a review, photograph, comment, suggestion or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content and that it does not infringe another person's rights.
